Attach Control Valve to vacuum source through suction tube.
Depress Control Valve and set the suction flow at desired level.
Connect the Swivel Adaptor to Endotracheal tube or Tracheostomy tube.
For patients with ventilator circuit, attach ventilator socket to the 15-Male port on the swivel adaptor.
Attach proper date sticker to Control Valve.
Dispose Closed Suction System after 24 hours.
Suction Procedure
Grip Swivel Adaptor and insert catheter to desired depth.
Depress the Control Valve intermittently to apply suction.
Inject distilled water or saline through Lavage port if secretions are thick.
Withdraw catheter slowly until Black Marking is visible in the sleeve.
Flush catheter by injecting solution through Irrigation port.
Lock the Control Valve by turning the Thumb piece 180°.
⚠️ Caution:
Do not use for more than 24 hours.
Do not resterilize.
Replace immediately if plastic sleeve is damaged.
