The Double Lumen Laryngeal Mask Airway (ALMA-G) is designed for general anesthesia surgery to ensure a clear breathing passage for patients. It effectively seals the laryngeal cavity, preventing secretions from entering and affecting respiratory function. Unlike traditional endotracheal intubation, this device is inserted through the larynx to minimize injury to the tracheal mucosa and avoid dislocation of the arytenoid joint.
ALMA-G is a single-use supraglottic airway management device crafted from premium thermoplastic elastomer. It features a soft, non-inflatable cuff and an integrated bite block for enhanced patient safety. An extra side channel is built along the airway tubing (available in sizes 1.5# to 5.0#), allowing anesthetists to insert a gastric drainage tube if required during the procedure.
